Join the Culinary Literacy Center, Food Everyone Deserves & Fikira Bakery for a special Juneberry Joy collaboration at Blackwell Regional Library! We'll be working to share knowledge and recipes on cooking with juneberries a.k.a, serviceberry, saskatoon, shadbush - a blueberry-cherry with edible almond seeds that are planted ALL over Philly as landscape plants, street trees, and in POP's community orchards! In this all-ages program, F.E.D. and Fikira will share favorite juneberry recipes: to make something sweet (oat bars) and something savory (salsa) -- cookin' it all up on the library's state-of-the-art, mobile, Culinary LIteracy Cart! Come have a taste of the season with us and your neighbors!
Pre-registration is not required.
