Donation Levels

Here are some examples of what your money can buy for a neighborhood in need:

ORCHARD PERENNIALS, such as strawberry, rhubarb, chives, comfrey: $10
BERRY BUSH OR VINE, such as blueberry, currant, raspberry, grape: $25
FRUIT TREE, such as apple, pear, peach, plum, persimmon, fig: $50
NUT TREE, such as pecan, walnut, chestnut: $75

Larger donations are a wonderful way to honor a loved one and can bring full orchards to a community in need.

BASIC MEMORIAL GROVE:
$2,500 plants a typical city lot.
15 trees, 30 shrubs, 60 perennials, and a plaque.

PEACE GROVE:
$5,000, plants 1/4 acre.
30 trees, 60 shrubs, 90 perennials, a bench, and a plaque.

NEIGHBORHOOD RENAISSANCE GROVE:
$20,000 plants 1/2 acre.
60 trees, 120 shrubs, 240 perennials, a simple processing facility, 2 benches, and a plaque.

FOOD SECURITY ORCHARD:
$60,000, plants one acre.
100 trees, 200 shrubs, 400 perennials, certified community kitchen, playground, five benches, and a plaque.

GLOBAL COOLING ORCHARD:
$150,000, plants two acres.
250 trees, 500 shrubs, 1000 perennials, certified community kitchen, sustainably powered meeting area, and a plaque.
