Learn how to make the quintessential condiment: JAM! -- and jellies, preserves, and marmalades, too! A great class for the beginner or seasoned chef alike, we'll explore the nuances of each preparation and share recipes and take-home samples. Join us for a tasty time!

Join Philadelphia Orchard Project (POP) and local Chef and Culinary Educator, Gail Hinson for a jam-tastic, Jam Making Workshop. We'll discuss the nuances and differences between jams, jellies, preserves, and marmalades; make a jam, preserve, and marmalade, highlighting the differences of each, and taste the fruits of our labor. Attendees will leave with recipes and samples of the products we make. The workshop provides a solid overview for the beginner jam-maker or seasoned chef alike.

All proceeds will go to support The Philadelphia Orchard Project's work to plant and support community orchards throughout the city and highlight the many delicious uses and preparations of the fruit we grow. www.phillyorchards.org
