Come join us at The Woodlands under the oaks, gathering up what they offer in the seasonal bounty of acorns. We will learn together how to sort, process, leach, and ultimately eat our delicious nutty meal.

Our native oak trees are ecological cornerstones, beautiful, and generous too! Come join us under the oaks at the Woodlands with Zach Elfers to gather up what they offer in the seasonal bounty of acorns. We will learn together how to sort, process, leach, and ultimately eat our delicious nutty meal. Please bring your smiles and a bag for gathering!

We will meet at 4pm at the Hamilton Mansion to then head out and gather acorns! Acorn gathering is 4-5pm, and we will return to the Hamilton Mansion at 5pm to process acorns nearby the old stables from 5-7pm!

** This series is offered on SLIDING SCALE $5-20. This enables POP to make these learning opportunities accessible to our community, support community facilitators, and provide materials. Please select the level that best reflects your means. Thank you! **
