At Fikira Bakery, fermentation rises breads and also makes medicine. Fikira's cauldron-keeper, Ailbhe Pascal, will teach you how to make a flu-fighting tonic using POP's citrus, trifoliate orange. Known as "fire cider," this tonic is spicy-sweet and knocks the sniffles away. It will take a month to ferment, so please have a jar to bring the magic home.
