Learn how to turn unripe plums gleaned from thinning community orchards into a tasty delicacy!
Want to learn about how to preserve the bounty of summer and turn unripe fruit into a tasty delicacy? Join avid fermenter and POP Lead Orchard Volunteer Ella Heron for a workshop on wild fermentation, where we’ll be pickling green plums from POP orchards around the city. Materials will be provided, and participants will leave with their own personal jar of pickles.
This workshop will take place at the POP Learning Orchard at the Woodlands on Saturday, June 11th.
Regristation is required.
