The second half of the workshop will take place outdoors in Wyck’s mature orchard – with hands on practice pruning in small groups. POP will provide all tools needed. Dress warmly!
Rain date is Sunday, February 16th.
This workshop is suitable for beginning/prospective farmers and orchardists, as well as those with more experience.
Accessibility: The Education Shed is heated and there are no steps for entry, located steps away from the parking lot. The parking lot has limited spots. There is street parking on Walnut Ln. and is preferred for people without accessibility needs. There is a bathroom located in a different building, with a small ramp. Entrance is not wide enough for a wheelchair. The hands-on portion will be outdoors on uneven grassy terrain. Some areas are sloped.
